About Angaga Island Resort and Spa
Angaga sits along the outer reef of South Ari Atoll where the lagoon floor gives way to deeper water. The island is small, typical of coral islands built from reef debris and sand carried by waves. Such islands rarely supported permanent settlement and were more often visited for fishing and coconuts. Today tourism occupies the island, but its physical limits remain clear: a narrow strip of sand sustained by the living reef beneath it.
