About Nika Island Resort and Spa
Kudafolhudhoo is one of the few resort islands in Ari Atoll that historically supported a settled community before tourism development. Like other inhabited islands of the Maldives, it would have relied on coconut groves, reef fishing, and small garden plots sustained by thin coral soil. The surrounding lagoon and reef edge reflect the typical structure of an atoll island environment. Although the island now functions as a resort, its past as a local settlement remains part of its story.
