Fish Head (Mushimasmigili Thila)

A renowned dive site and MPA, Fish Head spans approximately 0.57 km². This pinnacle rises steeply from the ocean floor, with overhangs and caves that shelter diverse reef fish. Once a protected shark feeding site, it remains a hotspot for grey reef sharks, snappers, and fusiliers. Its currents attract large pelagic species, while the coral life includes hard and soft coral formations. The site holds ecological importance and diving heritage, offering a rare glimpse into Maldives' shark conservation legacy and rich underwater topography.
