About Canareef
Canareef Resort lies on Herethere Island in Addu Atoll, a long, narrow stretch of land bordered by lagoon and reef. The island still holds traces of its natural mangrove and coastal vegetation, offering shade and shelter to native bird species. Much of the built area follows the island’s original contours, with wooden walkways linking the beaches and inner wetlands. The lagoon remains shallow and clear, where seagrass meadows support rays and small fish.
